Alfa Chemistry Integrates Its Product Portfolio of Environmental Goods Standards
Environmental pollution is a huge problem for all humankind. To facilitate research work regarding to this field, Alfa Chemistry announces that it has integrated its product portfolio of environmental goods standards earlier this month. As for now, the company offers three types of environmental goods standards, namely, chlorinated phenol and resin acids standards, drinking water disinfection byproducts standards, and environmental contaminants standards.
There are many forms of pollution. Environmental goods and services are products manufactured or services rendered to reduce or eliminate pollution or natural resource depletion, and to repair damage to air, water, waste, noise, biodiversity and landscapes. In the broadest sense, environmental goods and services can also be interpreted as activities related to environmental protection or resource management.
“Among tremendous work done to address environmental issues, air pollution control, waste water management, solid waste management, and remediation and cleanup of soil, surface water and groundwater have gained the top priority,” explains a spokesperson from Alfa Chemistry. “To assist scientists’ research projects, we have launched three types of environmental goods standards.”
Chlorinated Phenol and Resin Acids Standards
The chlorinated phenol and resin acids standards can be used in the analysis of pulp and paper products and effluents. Such products supplied by Alfa Chemistry include: o-methylpodocarpic (CAS 10037-26-0), tetrachlorocatechol (CAS 1198-55-6), 3,5-dichlorocatechol (CAS 13673-92-2), 6-chlorovanillin (CAS 18268-76-3), 4,5-dichloroguaiacol (CAS 2460-49-3), trichlorosyringol (CAS 2539-26-6), dichlorodehydroabietic (CAS 65281-77-8), levopimaric (CAS 79-54-9) and many more.
Drinking Water Disinfection By-product Standards
The drinking water disinfection by-product standards available at Alfa Chemistry include a range of haloketones, halonitromethanes, halomethanes, haloaldehydes, haloacids, haloacetonitriles and haloacetamides. Just to name a few here: Dibromochloronitromethane (CAS 1184-89-0), bromochloronitromethane (CAS 135531-25-8), 1,1-dibromo-3-chloroacetone (CAS 1578-18-3), chloronitromethane (CAS 1794-84-9), (Z)-2-bromo-3-methyl-2-butenedioic acid (CAS 23366-89-4), 1,1,1-tribromoacetone (CAS 3770-98-7), 2,2-dibromopropanoic acid (CAS 594-48-9), threo-2,3-dibromobutanedioic (CAS 608-35-5), 2,3,3-tribromopropenoic acid (CAS 71815-46-8) and many more.
Environmental Contaminant Standards
The environmental contaminants standards supplied by Alfa Chemistry are mainly series of phthalate monoesters, which include: monobutyl phthalate (MBP)(CAS 131-70-4), monobenzyl phthalate (MBzP) (CAS 2528-16-7), monomethyl phthalate (MMP) (CAS 4376-18-5), monooctyl phthalate (MOP) (CAS 5393-19-1), mono(3-carboxypropyl) phthalate (MCPP) (CAS 66851-46-5), mono(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (CAS 4376-20-9), mono(2-ethyl-5-oxohexyl) phthalate (MEOHP) (CAS 40321-98-0) and many more.
About Alfa Chemistry
After tireless efforts made in the past decade, Alfa Chemistry has now been successfully recognized as a reliable partner by both industrial and academic institutions, supplying a comprehensive collection of chemicals, catalysts, reagents, polymers and materials. In order to better serve its customers and also to keep up with the recent market demand, the company is now expanding and optimizing its product lines. Some rare chemicals that can be hardly found elsewhere are now available at Alfa Chemistry as well.
