Only tickets booked under Go Big, Go Comfy and Go Savy will get a free cancellation.

What if you have to cancel suddenly and cannot abide by the above rules, there is no need to worry if you cannot cancel your ticket by the rules, but you will be eligible for Reservation Credit you will not be entitled to a refund.

What is reservation credit

In Spirit Airlines, they give their customers Reservation Credit which they can redeem through the Spirit Airlines website.

You can use your Reservation Credits for the below services: -

Pay Flight Fares
Pay for Seats
Pay for Additional Baggage Charge
Or you can pay the charges and taxes.

How to redeem your reservation credits

You need to open the official website of Spirit Airlines, and before booking a new itinerary you need to copy a six-digit alpha numeric code from your cancellation mail.

Then while booking, in the top right corner, you will get an option of redeem your voucher.
There you need to put the six-digit code from your cancellation mail and then proceed with your bookings.
Please keep in mind that you might need to pay additional amount during your new booking as the fees & taxes may vary with your cancelled itinerary prices.
Then in the payment part put the code and get the amount adjusted with your new itinerary.
So now you can cancel your flight without thinking of losing money in cancellation fees.
